Companies and other organisation that operate in several countries can become International Sponsors of buildingSMART International. The following sponsorship packages are available:
Partner
A Partner of buildingSMART International sponsors a minimum of USD 50,000 and engages with the organisation at the highest level. Partners become members of the International Advisory Board and can become members of all Regional Alliances. A full membership packages is available as shown in the matrix below.
Associate
An Associate of buildingSMART International sponsors a minimum of USD 30,000. The benefits of an associate sponsorship are listed in the matrix below.
Contributor
A Contributor of buildingSMART International sponsors a minimum of USD 15,000. The benefits of an associate sponsorship are listed in the matrix below.

Combined sponsorship
If a Regional Alliance offers member benefits to sponsors over and above its standard membership benefits and comparable to the international benefits, they are able to offer a combined sponsorship package where 50% goes to the Regional Alliance and 50% to buildingSMART International.
This arrangement and this percentage will apply to all such sponsorships from USD25,000 upwards. Combined sponsorship will be offered by the Chapter where the organisation is domiciled.
